Returns & Refunds Policy

Cornwall Roof Tents is a trading name of WOWooO Ltd. This policy explains your rights and our process for returns and refunds.

Showroom Purchases

When you buy in person at our showroom, you have had the opportunity to inspect the product before purchase. There is no right to return for change of mind on showroom purchases under UK law.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full — if a product is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, please see the Faulty or Incorrect Items section below.

Online Orders — Roof Tents

Cancellation Before Delivery

If you wish to cancel your roof tent order before it has been delivered, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@cornwallrooftents.uk or 01726 844 000. If a delivery date has already been booked with ArrowXL, please also contact ArrowXL directly to cancel the delivery — this usually speeds up the process.

Returns After Delivery

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your online order within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. You must then return the item within a further 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation.

Conditions:

  • The roof tent must be in its original, unused condition with all original packaging intact
  • The roof tent must not have been mounted, assembled outdoors, or used in any way

How it works:

  1. Email hello@cornwallrooftents.uk within 14 days of delivery to notify us of your cancellation
  2. We will arrange collection using our specialist 2-person courier (ArrowXL)
  3. A collection charge of up to £100 will be deducted from your refund to cover the specialist collection service
  4. The item must be ready for collection within 14 days of your cancellation notice

Refunds

We will process your refund within 14 days of the roof tent being collected. Refunds are made to the original payment method.

Online Orders — Other Items

Returnable Items

Other items such as accessories must be in their original, unused condition with product packaging intact and adequately protected for return transit.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned for change of mind:

  • Perishable items
  • Intimate or sanitary goods
  • Health and personal care items
  • Items damaged by the customer

How to Return Other Items

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your online order within 14 days of delivery. You must then return the item within a further 14 days of notifying us.

Standard (small) items:

  1. Email us at hello@cornwallrooftents.uk within 14 days of delivery to notify us of your cancellation
  2. Return the item to us within 14 days of that notification
  3. Items must arrive in sellable condition in adequate outer packaging
  4. Include your order number on or in the package.

We can provide a Royal Mail tracked returns label for standard-sized accessories. The cost of £5.00 will be deducted from your refund. A printer is not required for our returns service, and you can choose whether to drop the item off at the Post Office or request a collection.

We recommend using a tracked service. If you use your own postage, responsibility for the item remains with you until it reaches us.

Larger items (too large for Royal Mail):

Please contact us at hello@cornwallrooftents.uk to discuss return arrangements. A collection charge will apply depending on the size and weight of the item.

Refunds

Approved returns will be refunded to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the item. Your bank may take additional time to process the credit.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

This section applies to all purchases, whether made online or in our showroom.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • If a product is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you have the right to a full refund within 30 days of purchase
  • After 30 days, you are entitled to a repair or replacement in the first instance

If you receive an item that is damaged or not as described:

  1. Take photographs as soon as possible
  2. Contact us at hello@cornwallrooftents.uk within 48 hours of delivery (for online orders) or as soon as the fault becomes apparent (for showroom purchases)

We may be able to resolve the issue without requiring a return in some cases.

Warranty

TentBox products come with TentBox's own manufacturer's warranty, which is handled directly by TentBox. If you experience a fault with a TentBox roof tent or accessory outside of the 30-day period above, please contact TentBox directly. We are happy to assist you in making contact with TentBox if needed — just get in touch at hello@cornwallrooftents.uk.

Other products come with the relevant manufacturer's warranty. Please contact us at hello@cornwallrooftents.uk and we will advise on the best course of action.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, for online purchases, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
